Attorney Aaron Hilgendorf concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, family law, and personal injury law in Metro Detroit and Southeast Michigan. From the time he was young, Aaron knew he wanted to be an attorney, and he knew he wanted to use his legal training to stand up for people facing some of the most challenging times of their lives.

Most of Aaron’s clients are facing an unfamiliar legal process with the potential to have a major impact on their futures. Aaron understands how overwhelming the legal system can be, and makes it a priority to help his clients feel informed and supported, not judged. Clients appreciate Aaron’s understanding of the system and his ability to prepare them for what lies ahead. They also trust Aaron to be a strong, effective advocate for them.

Aaron is a problem-solver by nature and a litigator by training. He is often able to resolve cases without the need for a trial, but he prepares every case as thoroughly as if he will have to present it to a judge or jury. His focus is always on protecting his client’s best interests, especially when the deck seems to be stacked against them. Aaron is energized by a challenge, and more than one client has observed that Aaron worked and fought as hard on their case as if it were his own.

When not working, Aaron enjoys spending time outdoors, including skiing, snowboarding, camping, fishing, and hunting. He also enjoys spending time with his family, and can often be found attending his five kids’ various activities and coaching their sports teams.
